Get a new roof in Mantua, Utah
Mantua is the town up Box Elder Canyon from Brigham City, beside a reservoir, and it winters harder than the fruit belt below. Roofs here are a snow-and-ice project with a small-town access problem.
Houses in Mantua
A compact town of houses, some older and some newer, plus cabins and homes that face the water or the slope. Pitches vary. Metal is a sensible option and shingles need a serious eave if they stay. Staging is limited. The canyon road is the commute, including for our trucks.
Weather on these roofs
More snow than Brigham City, wind down the canyon, and ice at eaves that stay shaded. The reservoir does not change the shingle chemistry; the cold and the shade do. Freeze-thaw works on flashings. A Brigham downtown spec is underbuilt for this bowl.
The work we see here
Replacements with a wide eave detail, metal with a plan for sliding snow, and winter leaks treated first as dry-in when the deck is not safe to rebuild. We will not tear off into a canyon storm to keep a date made in Ogden.
Services that fit Mantua
These are the services we call out for this town. The full list is the same company-wide menu. Nothing below is a generated “Mantua special.”
Metal roofing
Standing seam and other metal systems for wind, snow shedding, and owners who want a roof they can reread in twenty years.
Full roof replacement
Tear off the old roof, inspect the deck, and install a system specified for that city’s snow, wind, and sun.
Roof repair
Leaks, flashing, pipe boots, and storm-lifted shingles — repaired when a repair will last, and declined when it will not.

Questions about roofing in Mantua
Answers written for Mantua, not a statewide script with the city name swapped in.
Is Mantua’s winter closer to Huntsville than to Brigham?
Closer in spirit. It is a cold bowl above the front, not the front itself. Brigham’s east bench is a step up from downtown Brigham. Mantua is another step. We use a snow-country eave and we talk about shedding.
Can you get materials up the canyon reliably?
In the season we schedule, yes. We do not start a tear-off on a day the canyon is likely to close behind the dumpster. The estimate will say the work window plainly.
Do reservoir homes have extra moisture problems?
Shade and snow matter more than the water nearby. North slopes stay wet longer. Ventilation and the eave detail address that. We do not sell a special lakeside shingle.
