Where does AT Max Roofing work?

Along the Wasatch Front and in Washington County. That covers Utah Valley, the Salt Lake Valley, Davis County, Weber County, the Brigham City area, Cache Valley, and the St. George area. Each city we serve has its own page. Towns north of Brigham City, such as Tremonton, are not on the list. If a job is just outside a listed city, say so on the estimate form and we will tell you whether we can take it.

How do I request an estimate?

Book a free inspection and name the city. A person still has to look at the roof before anyone can price it. If the form says nothing was sent, call (385) 333-9637. Emergency tarping calls are answered 24/7. Office hours for everything else are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, seven days a week.

Do you charge for an inspection?

The look that goes with a written estimate is free. That visit is about the roof you might hire us to repair or replace. A separate written condition report for a sale, with no intent to hire the work, is a different request — say that on the form so we schedule it honestly.

How soon can you start?

It depends on the city, the season, and whether the job is a repair or a full replacement. We do not advertise a same-day crew or a guaranteed start week. After the estimate, you get a date, not a slogan.

Do you work with insurance claims?

Yes. The insurance claims page walks through the free inspection, the filing window, the adjuster meeting, replacement cost and depreciation, and the fact that you pay your deductible. We do not guarantee that a claim will be approved, and we do not suggest you start a full replacement that depends on insurance until you understand the carrier’s decision.

Which roof types do you install?

Architectural asphalt shingles, standing-seam and other metal systems, concrete and clay tile, low-slope systems including TPO, cedar shake where it still makes sense, and gutters tied to the roof edge. Solar is a roof-first conversation: what the roof needs before panels go on.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. The Utah contractor license is #10903532-5501. Ask for a current certificate of insurance before you sign. The carrier name is not published on this site.

Do you tear off old shingles or roof over them?

A full replacement includes a tear-off so we can see the deck. Roofing over a tired layer hides rotten wood and stacks weight the house may not want, especially under tile or a second architectural shingle. If someone proposes an overlay, the reason should be in writing.

What does a written estimate include?

The system, underlayment, ice-and-water locations where the climate calls for them, ventilation, flashings, and the tear-off. Decking repairs are often an allowance, because nobody can see every sheet of plywood until the shingles are off. Gutters, solar removal, and interior drywall are separate unless the estimate says they are included.

Why are there no reviews yet?

Reviews go on this site only when a homeowner wrote them and we can name the source. The job photos are from AT Max crews and are collected on the Projects page. They do not name a city or a customer, because those details were not recorded with the pictures. There is no star average.

Insurance claims

These answers are also on the insurance claims page. None of them promises that a carrier will pay.

Do I need three bids?

On an insurance claim, the carrier sets the scope and the price for what they cover. The lowest bid on that scope usually means cheaper materials or a thinner method, not the same roof for less money. On a retail job with no claim, compare written scopes. The useful difference is what is included.

Will filing a claim raise my premium?

Storm claims are generally treated as acts of nature rather than at-fault claims, but policies vary. Ask your agent how a claim affects your premium before you file. A contractor’s guess is not the answer.

Can you cover my deductible?

No. Utah law and insurance rules require homeowners to pay their deductible, and we never waive it. Anyone who offers to cover it is describing an invoice that does not match the scope.

Why choose a local contractor?

AT Max is licensed in Utah, license #10903532-5501, and has been roofing here since 2002. Warranty questions come back to the West Valley shop. We are still here after the out-of-town storm crews leave.

How long does a claim take?

There is no honest single number. The adjuster’s calendar, the carrier’s review, materials, and weather all move it. We document the roof once it is safe to walk. We will not promise a decision by a certain day.

What if my claim is denied?

Ask the carrier for the reason in writing, and use their appeal process if you disagree. We will show you what we documented. We will not tell you a denial is something we can overturn, and we will not start a tear-off that only works if a check arrives. A worn-out roof can still be a retail job. That is a written estimate, separate from the claim.

What does a free inspection include?

A walk of the slopes we can reach safely, test squares where they help, photos you can read slope by slope, an estimated age and condition when the evidence supports them, notes on collateral damage we can see, and a plain recommendation. Good, better, and best show up when there is a real choice. The visit is free when it is tied to work we might do. A stand-alone report for a sale, with no plan to hire us, is a different appointment.

Book a free roof inspection.

We look at the roof and leave you a photo report. If weather has opened the roof, call for emergency tarping.
